JOHN MCCAIN
Dems Attack McCain on Environment By Flying Plane in Circles
The Washington Policy Center showcases an utterly inane Democratic response to John McCain's speech in Seattle discussing his cap-and-trade proposal to reduce greenhouse gases:
According to the Tacoma News Tribune, "The plan is to hire an airplane that will carry a special message to Republican John McCain, and everybody else who is paying attention." Maybe the banner will say "McCain: Faux Maverick Bona Fides."
So the way they are going to attack John McCain for his climate change plan is to hire an airplane to fly around in circles burning fuel. If that doesn't demonstrate a contrast, I don't know what does.
Oh, we've seen this before. We've seen the giant Al Gore house, the giant John Edwards house, the $60,000 speech on poverty (step one, stop paying $60,000 on speeches), Pelosi's demand for a new private jet for her travel; Pelosi taking the Chevy Suburban; the taxpayer-leased Lincoln town cars of Reps. Diane Watson and Laura Richardson...
They're the ruling class. They can't be expected to make sacrifices like us peasants.
