'Honey, I Know It Looks Like I'm Watching the Game, But I'm Really Tracking The Election!'
I can't believe this key election indicator escaped my attention...
In the six years when the New York Jets won less than five games before Election Day, the Democrats won five elections, but when the Jets won five or more games before Election Day; the Republicans won the White House every single time.
Needless to say, I like this indicator, as the Jets won their fifth game today.
Maybe this will replace the Redskins indicator, which came up wrong in 2004.
