Apparently They Meant West of the Atlantic
"The West is tough terrain for Democrats." That's CNN's headline, on a story discussing a new poll finding Western states "give President Obama his lowest approval ratings, and the Democratic Party has a 45 percent approval rating in the area — the only region in the country in which it gets under 50 percent.".
Seeing that headline a day after Republicans enjoyed big wins in governor's races in New Jersey and Virginia, one can't help but notice the East isn't looking so hot, either.
