JOHN MCCAIN

Lieberman Praises McCain, Palin... And Bill Clinton?

Joe Lieberman is arguing that Obama compares unfavorably to Bill Clinton in terms of reaching across the aisle - on welfare reform, on free trade, on balancing the budget. A backhanded reach out to the Hillary voters?

Lieberman even praises Palin, a mild surprise since he's a McCain guy, not a down-the-line conservative: "she's taken on the special interests and political power brokers... She is a leader we can count on to help John shake up Washington."
