BARACK OBAMA

Anchor: Ayers Connection 'Resonating Huge' In Latest Fox News/Opinion Dynamics Poll (UPDATE: Meh.)

The Fox News anchor says that in their latest Fox News/Opinion Dynamics poll, the Obama-Ayers connection is "resonating huge."

The numbers should be out in one hour. Having said that, I wouldn't be surprised that if voters are asked, 'are you concerned about Obama's ties to Ayers,' if many said 'yes.' Who wants to say, 'no, I'm not concerned about Obama having worked with a guy who built bombs to blow up police stations and military dances?'

The real question is, 'would you change your support of Obama over it'?

UPDATE: A reader finds the numbers, and is underwhelmed.

Their latest poll has Obama up 46-39, Obama's lead expanding 1 point from their poll two weeks ago

Regarding Ayers, 32% say the connection makes it less likely that they will vote for Obama
61% say no difference

But break it down:
62% of Republicans say Ayers makes it less likely
29% of Independents 8% of Democrats

Barack Obama is viewed unfavorably by only 34% of their sample (60% approval).

Ayers is only "registering huge" among people already voting against Obama.
