Has Mitt Romney Become the Candidate For Evangelical Conservatives?

Slowly, under the radar, is Mitt Romney turning into the candidate for evangelical conservatives? (Or at least their leaders?)

Bob Jones III, chancellor of the university, is endorsing him.

An early sign of that support may have arrived when Robert Taylor, one of the deans of Bob Jone University, also endorsed Romney recently.

Yesterday we noted that by uttering critical comments of Giuliani, Thompson, and McCain, James Dobson is left with Romney and maybe Huckabee as his options...

I recall Tony Perkins speaking well of Romney while debating Peter King on Hardball a few weeks back.

Here's a more intriguing question - has any major figure in the religious right ruled out supporting Romney?
