SOMETHING LIGHTER

Chattin' Michigan...

Right now I'm on XM's POTUS08; later this morning I'm scheduled to appear on Laura Ingraham's show.

Word out of Michigan is that the weather is nasty...

If you're an Obama or Edwards supporter, can you motivate someone to come out in the snow to vote "uncommitted"?

UPDATE: I'm on with Tony Bawidamann, a veteran campaign manager now in the PR field, who said, while discussing the impact of the weather, "Huckabee seems to have the most motivated voter bloc... I'm told by people on the ground that Romney has the best organization, but you still need people to be motivated to come out for your candidate."

He expects higher turnout in urban areas, lower in rural areas...

Bawidamann expects the results to be "very close. On a sunny day, you would see McCain do very well. McCain's higher in the polls, but Romney's got a better field organization, and I think that's worth a few points. Close, but I think McCain will win, and Romney will have a tough time keeping his campaign going."
