Every Once in a While, You Just Swing and Miss
I have to say, the new McCain web ad, "2013," doesn't do much for me. It basically rattles off a bunch of issue areas — Middle East, nuclear terror threat, border security, energy independence, wasteful spending, health care choice, economic confidence — and a separate verb indicating that by this future date each area will have improved. Nothing on how, just an assertion that things will get better in these areas.
Unless my ears deceive me, I think it's Powers Boothe doing the voice-over, and that's probably the part I like best.
