The Saturday Night Live sketch that so thoroughly skewered Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank, the Democrats for opposing reform of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and made President Bush appear to be an easily-manipulated dolt disappeared from NBC's web site last night.

There's a possibility that NBC is getting legal threats from Herbert and Marion Sandler, a real-life fabulously wealthy couple involved in the subprime mess. I had thought it odd that presumably-fictional couple were named the "Sandlers," and wondered if it was an in-joke about Adam Sandler or something.
