BARACK OBAMA

Obama: I Salute Uribe Freeing Hostages From Group Whose Sponsor I Will Meet

Barack Obama responds to the Colombian hostage rescue:

Democrat Barack Obama also sent his congratulations, saying he supports "Colombia's steady strategy of making no concessions to the FARC, and its targeted use of intelligence, military, law enforcement, diplomatic and political power to achieve important victories against terrorism."

Ah, yes. It was "diplomatic power" that helped the Colombian army send a fake message to move the hostages, meet the FARC group in disguise (they dressed in Che t-shirts!), and take them onto two helicopters, where they then flew to freedom.

Nonetheless, Obama will meet without preconditions in a face to face summit with the man who funded those FARC terrorists, Venezuela's Hugo Chavez. Apparently the plan is to make no concessions to terrorists, but some concessions to their financiers.

Note that one of Obama's bundlers has already met with Chavez.
