Senator Dobbs?
When asked by Bill O'Reilly whether he's thinking of running for Senate in New Jersey, Lou Dobbs says only that he's "thinking about a lot of opportunities."
The next scheduled Senate race isn't until 2012, and would match Dobbs against Democrat Bob Menendez, presuming he runs for another term.
But the Garden State's senior senator — no pun intended — Frank Lautenberg, is a spry 85 years old, and was reelected last year. So the possibility of a sudden opening in the interim is not unthinkable.
