Good Try, Creigh, Good Try!
From a local NBC affiliate: "Crummy poll numbers are not slowing Creigh Deeds campaigning down. Deeds was in Charlottesville Wednesday for two different stops."
That's good; it would be particularly sad if he had stopped campaigning entirely with six days to go.
But when the lede is, "he's still showing up to campaign events," that's really lowering the bar, no? Kind of like those trophies just for participating, or giving a guy a Nobel Peace Prize based on potential?
