HILLARY CLINTON

Bill Clinton's Press Rage

Focus groups must be telling the Clinton campaign that people like it when Bill confronts members of the press, because it's turning into a regular occurrence.

Today:

In response, Bill Clinton said Harpootlian's comments were a distraction, and he accused the Obama campaign of funneling smears through the media.

"They are feeding you this because they know this is what you want to cover. This is what you live for," he told CNN reporter Jessica Yellin, who asked him for a response to Harpootlian at an appearance in South Carolina. "They just spin you up on this and you happily go along," Clinton said. As aides steered him away, he scolded: "Shame on you."

In Nevada:

Clinton ripped into a television reporter who had asked him about a Nevada lawsuit concerning participation in the state’s caucuses.

"When you ask me that question, your position is that you think that the culinary workers’ vote should be easier," than those of other Nevada workers, Clinton said to reporter Mark Matthews of KGO-TV in San Francisco. “If you want to take that position, get on the television and take it. Don’t be accusatory with me."

If I were Chris Wallace, I'd look over my shoulder... Bill might want a rematch.
