Joe Biden Asks for Money in Big City With Highest Unemployment Rate
To what do we attribute the news that Vice President Biden is attending a state Democratic-party fundraiser in a community with 17.3 percent unemployment? Arrogance? Tone-deafness? Or perhaps the White House is completely oblivious to the fact that fewer and fewer Detroit residents can afford to attend a breakfast event that costs $1,000 per person or $5,000 for a VIP reception?
Oh, it's not just Detroit, Jim. Fine, unemployment is surpassing 15 percent in Michigan.
The Detroit News is underwhelmed.
