Terrible News For an Iconic Figure
Damn, just... damn. That was my reaction to news of Senator Kennedy's brain tumor.
I can't find it in the archives, but I thought I had written something a few years back on visiting Senator Kennedy's office on Capitol Hill back in my wire service days. It's like a museum of the second half of the last century. You name a major political issue in the past four decades, and chances are Ted Kennedy had a central role in it.
