If You Outlaw Metaphors, Only Outlaws Will Use Metaphors
I guess I'm less offended than most on the right by Barack Obama declaring during the weekend that, "If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun." Sure, he once supported a nationwide ban on handguns. But he's never supported a ban on gun metaphors.
