BARACK OBAMA

President Obama Has Nothing to Say — at Least, for the Moment

Considering the Democratic advantage, it would be pretty stunning if the bill didn't pass. CQ reports that President Obama left his meeting with the House Democratic caucus at about 12:20 p.m., with no comment to press but did give a wave and a grin.

It appears Obama is starting to learn from those stimulus predictions that didn't pan out: Don't say you're going to win until you've won.

UPDATE: Obama speaks, back at the White House. Refers to "the bill that the House has produced," suggesting it is a done deal.
