BARACK OBAMA, JOE BIDEN

Joe Biden, Obama's Ambassador to Imus

More fun for an Obama-Biden ticket, if it comes to pass...

Obama, when the whole Don Imus controversy flared up:

"I understand MSNBC has suspended Mr. Imus," Obama told ABC News, "but I would also say that there's nobody on my staff who would still be working for me if they made a comment like that about anybody of any ethnic group. And I would hope that NBC ends up having that same attitude."

Obama said he appeared once on Imus' show two years ago, and "I have no intention of returning."

Biden, of course, is one of Imus' most frequent guests (as is McCain). He offered a disapproving statement at that time, of course, but it will be a fun question for that first press availability: Was Obama right to call for your friend Don Imus to be fired?
