Palin: Approval Is High, but Staff Performance Is Low

The good news for Sarah Palin is that her approval rating in Alaska is still pretty darn high:

Very positive 40.5
Somewhat positive 20.8 percent
Somewhat negative 12.5 percent
Very negative 20.2 percent
Don't know/Didn't answer 6 percent

The bad news for her is that there are those who worry that the staff around her is not ready for the prime-time scrutiny that surrounds the former vice-presidential nominee.

Gov. Sarah Palin's political action committee, SarahPAC, mistakenly confirmed Palin would headline a Washington, D.C., fundraiser for congressional Republicans in June.

Palin never saw the invitation and hasn't decided, the spokeswoman for SarahPAC said Tuesday.

Yeah, that's a mistake.
