The '24' Connection to McCain's New Ad
I thought the narrator of McCain's latest ad, "624787", sounded familiar. Campaign Spot reader Mark points out that it is actor Powers Boothe — known for many roles (often sinister) but recently Vice President Noah Daniels on 24.
McCain made one of the shortest cameo appearances in television history on 24, playing "Guy at CTU Who Hands Audrey a Folder."
I liked the senator's earlier description of the scene better: "I shoot one guy's kneecap off, only one .... a red-hot poker is planted in someone's chest, but other than that, there is no torture."
