Newt's Kind Words for Rudy
Newt Gingrich said nice things about Rudy Giuliani to Matt Lauer on the Today Show today:
"I'm not endorsing him... But I've said everywhere, and I cite him in every speech I give, if you look at New York is like today, and you look at the remarkable drop in crime, this is the safest large city in America. And it's worth studying what Giuliani did here."
Just FYI, over in the Corner a little while back, Mark Levin blogged that Gingrich was helping Huckabee behind the scenes, along with Dick Morris.
UPDATE: One of my readers noted, "Some team Huckabee's putting together: Ed Rollins, Jim Pinkerton, Dick Morris, Newt Gingrich... kind of like the Island of Misfit Toys, huh?"
