HORSERACE

Today's Turnout: All Time High for Any State - and GOP Ballot Shortages, Too?

The previous all-time high for turnout in a primary was New Hampshire in 2000, at 44.4 percent. Today turnout is expected to hit 50 percent.

Scott Walterman, one of my buddies on XM'S POTUS08, says he heard from a DNC source that some polling places were running out of BOTH Republican and Democratic ballots.

There are plans to allow those who are standing on line when the polls close to be allowed to vote.

Another truly wild bit of news — word is, there's no room to park the C-SPAN bus at Obama's event tonight.

Yeah, that's right; C-SPAN got turned away at the metaphorical velvet rope of the Obama campaign.
