BARACK OBAMA

Bipartisan Opposition, Partisan Support

Earlier this morning, Republican whip Eric Cantor noted, accurately, that opposition to the Pelosi version of the health-care bill is going to be bipartisan, with probably at least 25 and perhaps many more Democrats in opposition, along with either all Republicans or almost all Republicans.

If legislation passes the House today, it will be a liberal bill, passed almost entirely with the votes of liberal Democrats, in a country that is saying, through rallies, through poll results, and at the ballot box, that they are not a liberal nation.
