JOHN MCCAIN

As Obama is to McCain, bin Laden is to Bush?

The only point I would make about the Vanity Fair cover is that in their version of the New Yorker cover, Osama bin Laden's place has been taken by George W. Bush.

The walker, the pills in Cindy McCain's hand, the burning Constituion.... all of that I get. But are we really at the point in this country where the President — even one with a low approval rating, even one who authorized a controversial war, even one inspires such seething disdain in the opposition — is comparable to the mastermind of the most deadly terrorist attack in our nation's history?
