BARACK OBAMA
How Did That Israeli Paper Get Obama's Prayer?
Can this Haaretz report possibly be accurate?
Ma'ariv issued a response Sunday, saying that "Obama's note was published in Ma'ariv and other international publications following Obama's authorization to make the content of the note public. Obama submitted a copy of the note to media outlets when he left his hotel in Jerusalem. Moreover, since Obama is not Jewish, there is no violation of privacy as there would be for a Jewish person who places a note in the Western Wall."
But didn't Ma'ariv say that they obtained the note from a seminary student?
And if the release was authorized, then why did Obama "decline to tell reporters what he had asked of the Lord in his note"?
And Western Wall prayers are only private for Jews?
Sorry, not buying it. The prayer is between Obama and God. And if Obama didn't talk to reporters about it, then I want to see the press release from God.
