MITT ROMNEY

A Theory on Why McCain's Not Behind That Poll, and Possible Media Suspects?

Richelieu, the anonymous highly-ranked campaign veteran over at the Weekly Standard (nicknames for anonymous sources on a campaign blog - where have we seen that before?) suggests that the McCain campaign cannot be the ones behind the calls about Mormonism. Not because McCain's people have better morals, mind you, but because they can't afford it.

He also suggests a media poll... boy, that would fit into the "not political" description that Hart's source gave, huh?

Heck, Daily Kos and other netroots sponsor polls now. Maybe one of them wants to know where Romney's weak spots are if he turns out to be the nominee...
