BARACK OBAMA, MIKE HUCKABEE, MITT ROMNEY

Newsweek, Giving Olbermann a Run For His Money

Newsweek seems eager to establish itself as the most fervently pro-Obama print publication. Mark Hemingway details a ludicrous smear on Sen. Joe Lieberman, along with shoddy reporting tactics — asking the Connecticut senator to confirm that a conversation happened, but not the substance of the conversation.

This comes on the heels of, "The Republican Party has been successfully scaring voters since 1968, when Richard Nixon built a Silent Majority out of lower- and middle-class folks frightened or disturbed by hippies and student radicals and blacks rioting in the inner cities."

Before that, Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee were fighting a "holy war."
