Media Strangely Disinterested in Record Turnout in West Virginia

Noticed something missing today? Around the political blogosphere, there's been next to no discussion of turnout in West Virginia.

AP:

Interest was keen in the West Virginia primary, judging by a record turnout of more than 70,000 people who cast ballots in person before Tuesday in the state's liberal early voting system.

The Swamp:

More than 71,000 West Virginians cast ballots for today's primary during the "no excuse" early voting period that ended Saturday.

Another 5,310 residents cast absentee ballots. Secretary of State Betty Ireland's office says the total number of early ballots — 76,519 — broke the record for a primary election.

It couldn't be that lots of folks who wanted to declare the race over wanted to avert their eyes, could it?
