RUDY GIULIANI

A Rudy Departure Sooner Rather Than Later?

Despite my sense that no candidate should leave the race after tonight, Bill Bennett, on CNN, predicts that Giuliani will drop out and endorse McCain quickly.

John King, after talking to Team Rudy, suggests it's a matter of "when," not "if" Rudy departs the race.

Two other random notes from watching CNN's coverage: First, it looks like they have Air Force One parked in the background.

(Ah-ha! CNN is broadcasting from the Reagan Library, site of tomorrow's Republican debate, which has Reagan's plane as part of an exhibit.)

Second, I got to meet Amy Holmes over at CNN the other day. For the fans of this striking rightie, let me tell you, fellas...  even better in person. The television screen doesn't do her justice.
