How Close Is Hillary Clinton to George Soros? He's Her Election Night Buddy

I didn't know this until I read it in Matt Bai's The Argument: Hillary Clinton spent Election Night 2004 at George Soros' Upper East Side apartment. (I don't mean overnight, I mean that's the party she attended that evening.)

The apartment had been outfitted with a widescreen TV and camera to provide satellite conferencing with the leaders of the SEIU at a hotel suite in Washington. Bai's description: "Even after the conferees in New York and Washington mercifully decided to return to their respective vigils and reconvene later, the giant screen in Soros' apartment continued to carry the live feed of an empty hotel couch. It was as if all the Democrats in Washington had spontaneously combusted."
